Warranty

All my computers come with a complimentary 30 day warranty.  If anything goes wrong during the first 30 days, simply give me a call and I’ll work with you to make things right.  Additional 1, 2, and 3 year warranties can be purchased as well.

I don’t cut corners in my refurbishing process, and most of my computers should last 3-5 years.  Because of this, I don’t recommend purchasing additional warranty.  However, due to popular demand I will continue to offer it.

The cost of these warranties will vary wildly depending on the age of the computer purchased, how difficult/expensive that particular model is to repair, etc.  If you’d like a quote on an extended warranty, just give me a call.

File a Claim

If you’re having a problem with your computer, the best thing to do is to call me as soon as possible.  I can try to help you remotely and if necessary will be happy to look at your computer in person.

Warranty Exclusions

Some things aren’t covered under any warranty.  They include (but aren’t limited to):

• Accidental damage (dropping, water spills, cracked screens, broken D/C jacks etc.)
• Viruses or other software related issues
• Anything cosmetic (fading, scratches, delamination, etc.)
• Damage caused by repairs or upgrades not done by A+ Refurbished
• Acts of God (flooding, lightning strike, etc.)
• Theft or vandalism
• Overheating due to external or environmental factors (for example, if you use the computer in an environment where the ambient temperature exceeds 90 degrees or if you block the exhaust vents, that sort of thing)

Basically if the computer simply fails under normal use, you’re covered.  If the failure is caused by something you did, then it’s not covered.
