These computers will be in good condition but may have minor signs of use such as scratches, wear marks, dents, etc.  These issues are merely cosmetic and don’t affect the functionality of the computer in any way.  Our computers have been professionally refurbished by certified technicians and are ready to use out of the box!

This sale includes the computer itself and an original OEM power cord.  This is very important!  Knockoff chargers can slowly damage a computer over time and some knockoff chargers are so cheapo that they don’t include proper safety mechanisms.  Without these safety features, these chargers are more likely to cause a fire or electric shock!  We always include an original OEM charger with all our computers, but not all eBay sellers do.  Keep that in mind when you’re looking for a refurbished computer.  No other devices, software, or accessories are included (just the computer itself and the power cord).

Unless otherwise stated, this laptop includes the original battery.  Batteries are consumable products, which means they wear out over time.  We make sure these batteries have at least 80% of their original capacity.  If they don’t, then we replace them with a brand new OEM battery.  You can expect a couple of hours from the battery.  Unfortunately, most computer manufacturers outright LIE about the battery life of their computers.  Under REAL WORLD USAGE (meaning actually using the computer with the screen brightness at a usable level, the WiFi being on, and having a few things open at a time) a couple of hours is what you’re actually going to get with pretty much any modern laptop.

Those new laptops advertising 12+ hour batteries aren’t realistic.  You CAN get 12+ hours out of these laptops, but you have to lower the screen brightness by 95%, turn off WiFi (so you can’t use the internet), turn on throttling and reduce the speed of the computer by 90%, etc.  In other words, it’s a lie.  A couple of hours is all you’re going to get under real-world conditions.

Unfortunately, the nature of lithium-ion battery technology means that batteries typically fail very quickly and without warning.  This means that you can go from having a 3-4 hour battery one day to a 20 minute battery the next without warning.  Because of this, it’s very difficult to test batteries with any accuracy.  This is why there is no warranty on the battery.  However, if you have a problem with the battery at any time (even after 30 days), send us a message and we’ll help you find a good quality, affordable replacement battery.
